The Relationship Between Social Maturity and Sexual Satisfaction, Subjective Well-being, and Controlling Behaviors in Couples: Emphasizing the Mediating Role of Marital Commitment

Background: Subjective well-being and life satisfaction can help individuals achieve more success in their lives enjoy better supportive social relationships higher levels of physical mental health. The present study aimed to determine the relationship maturity with sexual satisfaction, subjective well-being, controlling behaviors through mediating role marital commitment couples. Methods: statistical population this correlational cross-sectional included all couples Tehran City, Iran, 2019, which 370 people were selected as sample using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. research tools Rao’s scale (RSMS), Golombok-Rust inventory (GRISS), (SWS), (CBS), dimensions (DCI). obtained data statistically analyzed by employing structural equation modeling (SEM) SPSS software, version 23 LISREL 8.8. Results: results showed positive between well maturity, both mediated (P<0.001). However, negative was observed Conclusion: Based on study, proposed model had good fit. Therefore, considering findings helps researchers therapists design appropriate therapies.
